Chief Executive Officer
Gwenaëlle is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ENGIE North America. And Executive Vice President, in charge of ENGIE Renewables and Hydrogen Business Units France, and responsible for the Global Renewables Business Line. Prior to this role, she was Chief Executive Officer of ENGIE France Renewable Energy. She joined ENGIE (previously GDF Suez) in 2010 as Senior Vice President for European and Regulatory Affairs. She started her career in scientific research for the French National Research Institute and French Atomic Energy before moving into energy advisory roles for the Service of the Prime Minister in France at various ministerial offices.
Chief Strategy, IT/Digital, Business Development Officer
Jacques is Chief of Staff, and Chief Strategy, IT and Digital, Business Development, Central Portfolio Management Officer. He previously served as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for ENGIE France Renewable Energy, the leading producer of solar and wind power in France. He started his career as a lobbyist and regulatory affairs expert in France and Belgium, and has worked for ENGIE (previously Suez) for more than 10 years. He is certified as a Business Development Officer and Central Portfolio Management Officer.
Chief Cities and Communities (C&C) and Operations Officer
Stefaan is Chief Cities and Communities and Operations Officer, responsible for all commercial, operational and management activities within this business area. He has worked for ENGIE for 23 years. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of ENGIE Generation North America LLC and Chief IT Officer, ENGIE North America, in charge of the company’s power generation facilities and IT services. Prior to that role, he served as President and CEO of GDF SUEZ Energy Marketing North America (now ENGIE Energy Marketing North America), among other positions.
Chief Commercial and Industries (C&I), Mergers and Acquisitions Officer
André is Chief Commercial and Industries and Mergers and Acquisitions Officer, responsible for leading the C&I business area as well as the mergers & acquisitions team. Previously, he was Chief Development Officer in charge of ENGIE’s business development in the United States and Canada. He began his career at ENGIE in 2002 and has served in various roles including Chief Financial Officer for Latin America and Chief Financial Officer for Peru. Before joining ENGIE, he held positions with Igaras Papeis e Embalagens (a subsidiary of the Riverwood Group), one of the largest craft paper and corrugated container producers in Brazil.
Chief Properties Officer
Mike is Chief Properties Officer, responsible for leading the Properties vertical. After completing a 22-year career with the U.S. Military, serving in the U.S. Army and the National Guard, he joined Elster as Senior Vice President of Sales and Strategy for North America. When Honeywell acquired Elster, he became Senior Vice President of Sales for Honeywell’s Smart Energy suite of technologies and solutions and a General Manager. His other roles include Director of Business Development for Datamatic and Vice President of Sales for Paragon Innovations.
Chief Renewables Officer
Laura is Chief Renewables Officer, responsible for the Renewables horizontal of our organization, supporting Cities & Communities, Commercial & Industries, and Properties. The Renewables horizontal encompasses utility scale wind and solar, distributed generation and storage and is focused on development, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance – including partnership management. Prior to joining ENGIE, Laura was President & CEO of Avangrid Renewables, one of the leading developers and marketers of renewable energy, owned 81 percent by Iberdrola. Laura built her career over more than 20 years at Avangrid, holding various positions in Operations, Market Structure, Regulation, Policy, Compliance, and Special Projects.
Chief Supply Officer
Sayun is Chief Supply Officer, responsible for supplying commercial and industrial organizations with electricity and gas services. Previously, he managed ENGIE teams and companies involved with major capital infrastructure projects in North America. During his 20-year career with the company, he held executive-level positions within Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Development and Operations. Prior to joining the company, he worked for Florida Power & Light’s regulated energy business.
Chief Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, Corporate Social Responsibility Officer
Paula is Chief Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility Officer. She is responsible for leading human resources and culture, marketing, internal and external communications, corporate social responsibility, real estate and integration. She has 25 years of experience in energy and financial industries. Before joining ENGIE in 2018, she was Vice President, Human Resources of Fiserv Output Solutions. She has held leadership roles at Alsom Power, GE (which acquired Alsom Power) and Southern Company/Georgia Power. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and Global Professional in Human Resources.
Chief Financial Officer
Bill is Chief Financial Officer (CFO), responsible for financial operations throughout ENGIE North America. He joined ENGIE in 2018 as Deputy Chief Financial Officer in charge of the Enterprise Performance Management department in Paris. Prior to this role, he was Group Controller with AKZO NOBEL in Amsterdam after two years as CFO of one of their business lines. He served in various financial roles at Schneider Electric and Eaton Corporation.
Chief Legal and Ethics Officer, Government & Regulatory Affairs
Will is Chief Legal and Ethics Officer, in charge of operational, commercial, and corporate areas, ethics and compliance. In addition, he manages the in-house legal department and corporate Government and Regulatory Affairs department. He joined ENGIE in 2011 as Senior Counsel in the Generation Group. He has been practicing law in the energy sector for over 17 years, initially as an associate at Hunton & Williams and Paul Hastings, both in Washington, D.C., and later at SunCoke Energy, Inc., formerly a subsidiary of Sunoco. He is certified in Government and Regulatory Affairs.
Vice President Marketing & Communications
Sandrine is Vice President of Marketing and Communications at ENGIE North America, where she is responsible for leading the design and implementation of marketing and communication strategy to elevate ENGIE's brand in North America and promote key activities of the business to the media, customers, industry officials and employees. Sandrine brings more than 20 years of expertise in Marketing and Communications and prior experience at ENGIE to this role. Prior to her work within ENGIE, she spent more than fifteen years in Suez Environment in several communication positions where she developed award-winning digital communications.
Eric De Caluwé
Head of Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory
Eric is Head of Acquisitions, Investments and Financial Advisory (AIFA), responsible for leading the internal financial advisory team that supports ENGIE's business development and operations in North America. Previously, he was in charge of AIFA activities for the Benelux, Nuclear and Generation Business Units in the Benelux region (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg). Before joining AIFA, he worked for ENGIE Global Energy Management. He began his career at ENGIE in 2008 and worked in a variety of consulting and project management roles at ENGIE Tractebel Engineering and ENGIE Fabricom.
Chief Information and Digital Officer
Dulce leads the Digital & IT function responsible for Corporate IT, Cyber Security and Digital software. Dulce joined ENGIE in 2003 and was named CIO in 2013 after successfully leading various IT functions through rapid growth and divestitures. She leads the development of Smart Institutions, a digital platform making the zero-carbon transition a reality for customers and it has contributed to rapid growth of our pipeline with Universities in the US and Australia. Dulce brings over 25 years of industry and tech experience in both regulated and deregulated markets. She began her career with Florida Power & Light designing and implementing solutions for the regulated power industry. In 1999, Dulce joined Dynegy and led several initiatives, notably their Retail market entry when deregulation began in Texas.
