Energy That Gives Back

Beyond Renewable Energy: How ENGIE Invests in Local Communities

Strengthening local resilience begins with supporting the organizations that sustain it every day. In Green County, KY, the Green County Food Pantry has grown so rapidly that it recently had to relocate to a larger warehouse just to keep up with demand. Their commitment to ensuring reliable access to food has become more critical than ever. ENGIE is honored to support their work with a $20,000 contribution, delivered in the same community where we’re developing our Horseshoe Bend Solar Project. This donation reflects our long‑term commitment to strengthening local infrastructure and supporting organizations that provide essential services to families in need. Energy projects bring jobs and tax revenue, yet they also create the opportunity to invest directly in the wellbeing of our neighbors. Watch the video to see how ENGIE is helping expand community support in Green County.

Powering Community Resilience

Powering Communities: How ENGIE Is Supporting Families in Taylor County, KY

Supporting stronger communities starts with supporting the people at the heart of them. In Taylor County, KY, the team at Green River Ministries Center operates a homeless shelter that truly functions like a well‑oiled machine. Volunteers greet you with warmth, rooms are organized with care, and families in transition find a safe place to get back on their feet. The need is growing, and so is their vision to expand. ENGIE is proud to contribute $25,000 to help advance that mission in the same community where we are developing our Flat Run Solar Project. Our work goes far beyond delivering clean power. It’s about investing in local organizations that provide essential support and strengthening the communities where we operate.
