ENGIE in North America
Our 3,800 employees are energy experts, leaders whose dedication is advancing the transition to a carbon-neutral North America. Along the way, we’re creating jobs, economic opportunities, and trusted community and customer partnerships.
We’re building a brighter, more sustainable future through cleaner energy solutions.
We’re helping customers achieve energy reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
ENGIE partners with customers throughout the United States and Canada to help them make the energy transition to solutions that are cleaner, more efficient, and reliable. From supporting renewable energy power purchasing agreements (PPAs) to operating utility systems to constructing more sustainable buildings, ENGIE works with our clients to meet their specific energy and facility needs.
Cities and Communities
ENGIE partners with public-serving organizations to cost-effectively operate and maintain facilities, modernize municipal infrastructure, and expedite the achievement of sustainability goals. We provide cities, counties, educational institutions, and other government entities with opportunities to reduce costs, improve energy efficiency, transition to renewable energy, and ensure the reliability of utility systems, while simultaneously contributing to the well-being of local communities.
Commercial and Industries
We understand that the progression toward carbon neutrality is just as vital as cost-efficiency and reliability for our corporate clients. Companies look to us for renewable energy solutions that create a better environment for their employees and the community. Whether it’s through solar, wind, storage, or a hybrid solution that combines these renewable energy resources with a traditional resource like natural gas, we are our clients’ trusted partner to help achieve their energy transition goals.
We’re experts in developing and managing energy transition projects.
We manage the entire lifecycle of renewable energy transition projects, from development to financing, construction, procurement, and operations. ENGIE added 1 GW of renewable power to the grid in 2021, growing our renewables portfolio to 4 GW across the U.S. and Canada. ENGIE also has hundreds of installations of distributed renewable energy solutions across North America, giving businesses and communities access to locally generated renewable energy.
We are also an experienced commercial energy provider.
ENGIE has supplied retail electricity to commercial and industrial customers since 2002. We operate in 14 U.S. markets, enabling customers to take advantage of a wide range of efficient, cost-effective energy supply options, including access to wind and solar power.
